A public heritage showcase for people exploring Pangasinan. The site brings 41 heritage entries into a browsable collection, with location information and individual pages for a closer look.
Clarity through
composition.
The design challenge
Present a varied collection of places without making the experience feel like a directory. The interface needs to give photography space while keeping discovery, classification, and navigation clear.
Visual direction
Playfair Display gives the headings an editorial character; Outfit keeps supporting information compact and readable. Cream surfaces, forest green, and terracotta frame the landscape photography. Rectangular images and open spacing carry the composition.

The collection supports text search and heritage-class filters. An About page adds context to the showcase.

One identity.
The opening composition changes from a split desktop layout to a vertical sequence. Fluid type and gutters preserve reading space, while the heritage grid adjusts its columns and navigation becomes a mobile panel.
From interface
to experience.
Front-end approach
Next.js and TypeScript organize structured heritage data into generated detail pages. CSS Modules and shared design tokens connect the component system; responsive image components define image sizes and loading behavior.
Final experience
A photography-led introduction opens into a searchable heritage collection. The live site can be explored without an account.
